The role:A great opportunity exists in our Taupo branch reporting into the Service Manager to work on the latest construction equipment in the field. Develop your career, knowledge, skills and experience further within the heavy diesel industry.
This is a permanent position working a minimum of 40 hours a week, predominantly Monday – Friday.
As Health and Safety is a priority for us at TDX you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits. This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner as well as provide first class customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose, maintain and repair all equipment in a professional and efficient way.
- Maintain continuing good relationships with customers and potential customers within the Region.
- Actively work to ensure excellent daily communication with the workshop and parts department.
- Complete all paperwork as directed.
- Ensure timecards are completed daily showing the correct job number.
- Record stocks, oils and other material used against a job number.
Our ideal applicant will have:
- Trade qualification is desirable.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant and verifiable experience.
- Used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles.
- Have hydraulics experience.
- Have worked on construction equipment/plant.
- Clean Character and Physically fit
