Service Advisor

Help support a busy crew and provide quality service and information to our customers about their Heavy Diesel equipment repairs and services.

 
Location: Auckland



Reporting to the Service Manager, this role will be the first point of contact for our customers regarding any machine service or repair requirements. The role will require you to plan and organise effectively to ensure the needs of all external and internal customers are met, as well as taking responsibility for the case management process for all workshop jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Issue any stock and non-stock items to jobs ensuring accurate input of part numbers and quantities.
  • Open each job ensuring all relevant information is entered including customer order number, machine details, make and model, km/hrs, correct serial numbers, registration number etc.
  • Submit claims (including photos) and technical agreements to the Warranty department as required.
  • Assist with answering incoming calls to the Service area and re- direct as appropriate.
  • Organise the preparation of service job packs for all cases as per the service job check sheet.


You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, or in a heavy automotive workshop environment.
  • Previous service workshop administration experience.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Well organised, methodical and efficient.
  • High levels of accuracy
  • Understand the importance of great customer service.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Open, warm and friendly approach to others.
  • You will have strong communication skills and be a natural problem solver, with a focus on achieving results and a pragmatic approach to planning and organising the delivery of solutions.


As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits. This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner as well as provide first class customer service.
