What’s in it for you?
You will be rewarded with a base hourly rate, OT rate after 8 hours worked each day, mobile phone, company vehicle for work use, tool allowance, access to medical insurance discounts, life insurance, and further bonuses where applicable! 

You will be joining a high performing branch based just out of Greymouth with an experienced service manager on site, and a positive/upbeat culture. 

The role:
Predominantly Monday - Friday, daytime hours. No shift work providing great work-life balance for you. 

Responsibilities include:
• Diagnose, maintain and repair construction equipment that is now in our client’s possession 
• Predominantly field service work, some workshop based work
• Maintain and create relationships with customers and potential customers within the region
• Ensure excellent daily communication with the workshop and parts department
• Complete all paperwork as needed
• Ensure timecards are completed daily showing the correct job number
• Record stocks, oils and other material used against a job number
• Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and protocols 

Our ideal applicant will:
• Be a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• Have construction equipment experience
• Be based or willing to relocate to Greymouth
• Be a self-starter with initiative, honesty, and integrity
• Have used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles
• Have hydraulics experience
• Be fit and able
• Know how to work hard, and enjoy a laugh
