The advanced new electro-hydraulic system with an enhanced main control valve (MCV) boosts fuel efficiency. Sensors monitor operator movements, sending signals to the ECU, which commands the MCV. The new cab design enhances comfort and ease of work. It offers storage for items like a coolbox or shoes, reduced noise levels, a built-in sunscreen, and improved HVAC. The new seat reduces operator fatigue during long shifts. You can charge your phone wirelessly or via USB, play music, and make clear Bluetooth calls. Volvo Smart View with Obstacle Detection provides a 360° view, identifying obstacles as objects or humans. The modern HMI allows easy menu access and setting adjustments, while keyless engine start and an always-on camera improve visibility.

Filters are easily accessible from the machine platform, and features ground-level DEF/UREA filling. HVAC filters can be replaced inside the cab for convenience. The swing-out condenser simplifies radiator and oil cooler inspection and air-con refills. Engine and hydraulic oils can be drained via a quick drain port using a standard hose. Optional fast filling systems are available for hydraulic and engine oil. A shut-off valve prevents oil leakage during fuel filter changes, and an optional ground-level quick oil change port ensures cleaner, safer oil changes.

Four top boundary features are depth limit to avoid underground hazards, height limit to prevent overhead collisions, swing fence to avoid side obstacles, reach out-limit to prevent wall contact, and cab avoidance to protect the cab.
