The role:
Reporting to the GM- Sales and Marketing, the purpose of this role is to provide sales management of an established sales team to existing and potential customers of our Volvo, Yanmar, Sennebogen Construction and Forestry Equipment.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven  Regional Sales Manager with experience in the capital plant, forestry or general construction equipment  industry, to lead and inspire our sales team as we continue to expand and enhance our market position.

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing a high-performing team, and delivering outstanding results. You will provide leadership and support to your team while cultivating strong relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders. This is a high-impact leadership position that requires a blend of strategic thinking, team management, and hands-on sales experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Training, mentoring, and leadership of territory managers
  • Develop and promote a culture that facilitates teamwork, trust and open communication in the achievement of the Group’s business objectives and goals
  • Motivate staff to provide the highest level of sales acumen
  • Ensure all sales enquiries are managed promptly and efficiently
  • Establish the team to ensure they are servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders and establishing new accounts
  • Work to support/oversee and track tenders, sales pipeline, CRM input, call cycles
  • Support with industry events and recruitment
  • Work to support and oversee the relationship existing and potential customers of our Volvo, Yanmar, Sennebogen Construction and Forestry Equipment
  • Work closely with customers both internal and external to support overall product knowledge.
  • Be committed to providing a quality service to internal and external customers, suppliers and all company departments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
  • Co-ordinate with the Order Desk on the preparation of sales forecasts, machine orders and logistics of machine arrivals.

We are ideally looking for:

  • An individual with proven progressive sales experience of capital equipment with a competitive, flexible and resilient nature to drive success.
  • You will enjoy engaging with and building strong, trusting relationships with customers and internal partners, with the ability to negotiate and influence to reach optimal sales outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of capital equipment and previous experience in a capital equipment sales role is required.
  • You will be self-driven to achieve results, with strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Someone who enjoys what they do.
  • Familiar with MS Office Suite and CRS software
